Honey it is the money, Have you any?
Like life and death, fines and taxes are inevitable
When making principal is the principle, there is no principle
Like bills and premium , debt and deposit are a treat,
Until a single fault or default mean a retreat.
The annoying soliciting afternoon calls which keep you awake
The enticing e-mails with the bonanza from lottery you didn’t partake
The occasional salesman with sardonic smile, away with his cake
Honey it is the money, have you any to take?
The varied ways of making the wages are so strong
Because fine is a tax for doing wrong
As tax is a fine for doing the good
May it be so, all the monies are yours or govt.’s food
In life, let all your deeds be fine,
As the benefactor’s indebted lives will be thine
Death is the final call alike for a do -gooder or a sinner
From the creator who is always the winner
Yearn for more, to make your life fine
Earn more and more to pay all tax or fine
All the clings and clanging coins can change
the rich and famous or the bold and beautiful in your range
The desperate wives may keep the doctor in the house
Only to make him play, hide and seek with the mouse
Many a debt and tax may make his pleasure minimal
Honey, it is the money, differentiating animals from manimal
Lucky I am not in debt
But indebted to Ankala who is so adept
In making me find syntaxes so fine
And hang on at the favorite site of mine
The moving finger writes on
Having writ it has gone
So don’t borrow the sorrows from tomorrow
As tomorrow is today's worry, with yesterdays sorrow
